Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use features involving real-money wagers, deposits or withdrawals. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service is lawful where you live.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for all activity under your account.
• Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.
• One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise.

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or violate these Terms.
• Cheat, exploit, use unauthorised software, or manipulate matches, wagers or results.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or post hateful, illegal or sexually exploitative content.
• Spam, scam, phish, or attempt to defraud other users.
• Disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the platform or its security.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

• Real-money features are currently switched off. Until X-Esports holds the licence required to offer them, wagers, tournament entry fees and coaching are played with points only. Points have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money. Anyone who still holds a real-money balance from before this change can withdraw it.
• The platform offers a virtual (play-money) balance and a real-money wallet. Real-money deposits and withdrawals are processed by PayPal and are subject to their terms.
• When you enter a wager, the stake is held in escrow and settled based on the confirmed result or dispute resolution. Virtual balances have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real money.
• Applicable fees, limits, payout timing and refund conditions are shown in-product at the time of each transaction.
• Wagering restrictions. Skill-based wagering and real-money contests may be regulated or prohibited in some states, countries or regions. It is your responsibility to ensure participation is legal where you are, and we may restrict or refuse these features by jurisdiction.

Organisers are responsible for running their tournaments, leagues and communities fairly and lawfully, including any advertised prizes. We are not the organiser of user-created competitions and are not responsible for their conduct, though we may intervene, moderate, or resolve disputes at our discretion.

The marketplace lets users list and buy digital and physical items. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own transactions, listings, delivery and compliance with law. Unless stated otherwise, we are not a party to marketplace transactions and provide the platform “as is”.

The X-Esports name, logo, and platform are owned by the operator and protected by applicable laws. You may not use them without permission. Game names and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

The service integrates third parties such as PayPal and Discord and may link to external sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the platform and its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
